L’Étape Australia by Tour de France DNA is to replicate a mountainous stage of the Tour de France. The climbs and ascents have always been the backbone of the event and riders now travel from all over Australia, indeed all over the world, to test their legs on the steepest hills Australia has to offer.

The new route from Kiama is no different. A Race course that provides three tough climbs, including a switchback climb through rain forest, coastal rolling hills, high country roads, beautiful villages and stunning vistas, and a Ride course that provides one challenging climb and a shorter distance.

Scheduled for the end of November, we do not expect to see an impact from the Covid-19 pandemic on L’Étape Australia. However, under the current circumstances we are pushing back the release of the course and the opening of registrations to the end of May, to give ourselves and the authorities some breathing space before the registration process gets into full swing.

In the meantime, our team is working from home, so the best way to contact us is via email or Facebook.

We will also organise regular virtual group rides on Zwift to help you stay fit (more information to come). Our training programs, available on our online store, has also been updated to be compatible with Zwift.

We hope you are staying safe and healthy!
