- Why did the event get postponed?
The current escalation of the COVID-19 situation in Australia and ongoing restrictions on public gatherings to limit the spread of the virus has led us to postpone the event. The restrictions are there to protect riders, supporters and the local community, which is of paramount importance to all of us.
- What is the new date?
The new date is Friday 19 and Saturday 20 March.
On Friday 19 March, all riders must collect their registration pack in Coronation Park (Kiama). Saturday 20 March will be the race day (for both The Race – 136km and The Ride – 80km).
- I am already registered, what do I need to do?
If you are already registered and the new date works for you, you don’t have to take any further action.
- What if the new date doesn't work for me?
If you are already registered and the new date does NOT work for you, please fill the form below to request either a full credit (valid for two years) or a refund (minus a processing fee of $10).
- I have yet to register, when can I do so?
Registrations for L’Étape Australia by Tour de France (19-20 March 2021) remain open at https://letapeaustralia.com/registrations-merchandise/.

- How and where to collect my bib number?
The event schedule won’t be modified. All riders must must collect their registration pack in Coronation Park (Kiama) on Friday 19 March. Saturday 20 March will be the race day (for both The Race – 136km and The Ride – 80km).
The event location, the routes and timings are intended to remain the same. Riders already registered for the event are automatically transferred to the new date and don’t need to take any further action. If you are unavailable at the new date, you can request transfer your registration to L’Étape Australia in December 2021 or 2022, or a refund via the online form below.
